What is Upromise
Upromise has been around since April 2001. It is rewards program that helps you save for college, or pay down student loans. You can save money for yourself, your children, or anyone you like! Join UPromise and Save for College
How does Upromise earn you money?
Members (it is totally free to join) get 1-25% back on items they might already purchase. Products range from grocery store items to eatting out at certain restaurants, etc.
How does Upromise work?
Sign up for free. Enter your basic name and address information. Next, add debit and credit card numbers along with any store cards (grocery, drug stores, etc.). Whenever you buy a qualifying item using one of those cards, the Upromise earnings will be credited to your Upromise account.
Is Upromise a 529?
No, and it does not have the tax advantages of a 529.
